Stephenville is known as the “Cowboy Capital of the World”, after all you don’t come to visit or live in Texas to see a bunch of people in 3-piece suits.
During you’re stay with us you’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful country setting while your RV is setting pretty under a canopy of majestic oak trees. Since Texans aren’t big believers in rules the Getaway RV Park does not have a standard cookie cutter layout, rather it meanders through 35 acres taking advantage of all the land’s natural beauty.
We never get too far from our rich western heritage at the Getaway RV Park. After all how many times have you heard about an RV park that says bring your horses along? We offer uncovered horse stalls and covered barn horse stalls and storage space for horse trailers. And if you’re not already relaxed by the quiet setting we have a catch and release fishing pond at the back of the property.
If the big city is calling you for a little shopping or entertainment we’re only a 45-minute drive to Fort Worth and one-hour to DFW Airport, one of the biggest airports in the country.
